Aquarium fluorescent lights
Do you want to replace the fluorescent lights of your aquarium? Then a special lamp is required. We have different t5 and t8 fluorescent aquarium lights with various lengths. The lengths correspond to the wattage of the lamps.
T5 or T8 fluorescent aquarium lights?
With us you can choose between T5 or T8 fluorescent lighting. T8 tubes are the traditional thick fluorescent tubes. T5 tubes are slightly more modern and thinner than T8 tubes. The type you need depends on the socket of your aquarium fixture.
Which fluorescent lighting for your aquarium?
The lighting you need for your aquarium depends on the type of aquarium you have and the result you want to achieve. For example, do you have a marine aquarium or an aquarium with a few or no plants? Then you need a lamp that emphasizes the colors of the fish, such as our Aquastar lamp. Do you have a tropical aquarium with lots of plants? Then it is better to choose the Gro-lux lamps. These lamps have the right color that stimulates the growth of plants. A combination of both lamps is also possible so you can still emphasize the color of your fish.
